Footnotes

1. Before use, close the battery compartment cover and the USB-C port cover, and tighten the Lens Protective Cover. It is recommended to install the Waterproof Case for long-duration underwater shooting or in environments with high water impacts or pressure. Osmo Action 3 and its Waterproof Case have an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not use the camera in hot springs or expose it to corrosive liquids.
2. EIS is not supported in Slow Motion and Timelapse modes. HorizonSteady is only available when the video resolution is 1080p (16:9) or 2.7K (16:9) with a frame rate of 60fps or below. HorizonBalancing is only available when the video resolution is 1080p (16:9), 2.7K (16:9), or 4K (16:9) with a frame rate of 60 fps or below.
3. Tested in a 25° C (77° F) laboratory environment while recording 1080p/30fps video with EIS disabled and the screens off, and should be used for reference only.

    does DJI osmo overhear?

Loving the 4K/120fps capability! But what about storage? Can it handle all that high-res video?

DJI’s RockSteady 3.0 is supposed to be top-notch. It’s their latest stabilization tech, so you should expect some seriously smooth footage, especially at those higher frame rates.

The 1/1.7′ sensor is a significant upgrade, resulting in sharper images and better low-light performance compared to its predecessor.

I’m all about that stabilization! But how does it compare to other action cameras in terms of smoothness?

yep, that’s what the specs say! But for deeper dives or longer underwater shooting, they recommend using the waterproof case just to be safe. Still, it’s pretty impressive!

What’s the deal with the waterproofing? Can it really go 16 meters deep without a case?

the battery is built-in, but it seems to last a good while. And hey, it’s rechargeable, so at least you don’t have to worry about constantly buying new batteries!

I’m impressed by the battery life! But is it replaceable or built-in?

from what I’ve read, it performs pretty well in low light thanks to its wide ISO range. Plus, with that f/2.8 aperture, you should get some decent shots even when the lighting isn’t ideal.

Damn, this camera seems packed with features! But I’m curious, how does it handle low-light conditions?
