Small files, clear choices.

The production site will separate essential storage from optional analytics and advertising technologies.

Essential storage

Some storage is required for security, sessions, accessibility choices and features explicitly requested by a user.

Analytics

Optional measurement will only activate according to the consent rules applicable to the visitor. The preference centre will make choices easy to change.

Advertising

Any advertising or cross-site measurement technology will be identified separately and disabled until appropriate permission has been obtained.

This prototype

The current local prototype uses browser storage only to demonstrate article views and comment previews. It does not send that information to an external analytics service.
